Daemen College is a small private, nonsectarian, co-educational college located in Amherst, New York, approximately 10 minutes from Buffalo. Our student population consists of approximately 1700 undergraduate and 835 graduate students. Student veterans are an essential part of our college community and we are committed to helping you reach your educational and professional goals, whether you are a first year, transfer, or graduate student.
Our veteran population includes students who are active duty members, students who served in the armed services, and student dependents of military service members. All students have access to The Daemen College Nancy Haberman Gacioch (NHG) Center for Veterans providing a study lounge area to better ensure students’ academic success and social integration within the Daemen College family. In addition, the Center provides student workers to assist with answering questions, helping with career and personal vocational choices, and academic coaching.
A part of the Yellow Ribbon Program, our focus is on making your college experience as stress free as possible.
