While recruitment and retention of veteran and military aligned students are important goals, our primary focus is to ensure the success of all our students academically, professionally and personally.

One of the biggest challenges for veterans who leave the service and transition to college life is the loss of camaraderie and purpose that the military provided. At D'Youville, we know the barriers and challenges student veterans are going to face, and we help ease the transition. Go to http://www.dyc.edu/veterans/ to learn more!

Critical thinking, strong writing skills, and developing an appreciation for the arts are all part of being a D’Youville graduate. Internships, community involvement, and service learning experiences at D'Youville are all ways in which our students take their learning beyond the classroom.

At D'Youville, you'll be enrolled in the same programs offered at big schools, but you won't be just one person in a lecture hall of hundreds. We believe small classroom sizes and hands-on learning experiences empower students to take an active role in their learning and to start their careers right out of college.

It's one of the fastest growing areas in undergraduate education. There's a shortage of public health workers in the national workforce as well as the workforce in New York State. D'Youville College in Buffalo New York now offers a bachelor of science (BS) degree in Public Health. http://www.dyc.edu/academics/schools-and-departments/health-professions/departments/health-services-administration/
