Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University is the nation’s oldest and largest institution dedicated to the fields of aviation, aerospace, and security and intelligence. With an emphasis on undergraduate education, Embry-Riddle’s Prescott campus features average class sizes of 23 students where all classes and labs are taught by faculty, most with industry experience as well as their terminal degrees. The emphasis is on hands-on, practical learning experiences to support the curriculum. The result is 97% of students being employed or attending graduate school within a year of graduation in their field of study. Embry-Riddle’s Prescott campus is home to the defending back to back national champion Golden Eagles flight team, the nation’s first and only College of Security and Intelligence, and US News and World Report’s #1 rated Aerospace Engineering program (for schools that go up to a Master’s degree). With large ROTC contingents and a strong veteran population, about one third of the students on campus either have been or will be in the service. Embry-Riddle is a Yellow-Ribbon participating school, so tuition and fees are covered for qualified veterans.
