Message From The School

Hello, My name is Christine Denaro and I’m the Coordinator of Veterans & Military Services at Framingham State University. I’ve worked with many service members, student veterans, and their dependents for over 10 years and I’ve worked in higher education for over 25. I’m also a mom to two active duty children. I understand the many challenges that service members may face as they transition from the military to college. I have a thorough understanding of the various educational benefits that are available to you and I can provide you with the support and resources necessary to help ensure your inclusivity and sense of belonging here on our campus. Our office is here to help you achieve your personal, professional, and academic goals with respect, compassion, and empathy. Please send us an email or give us a call today. We look forward to serving you. Kind Regards, Christine

Framingham State University (FSU)

Framingham State University (FSU) is home to a thriving community of more than 200 military-connected students from all branches of the Armed Services. The University offers nearly 40 undergraduate majors in everything from Criminology and Global Studies to Chemistry and Food Science on a picturesque New England campus 20 minutes outside Boston.

The University is located in the thriving MetroWest coordinator surrounded by Fortune 500 Companies, innovative startups, and a robust government and non-profit sector. FSU’s Office of Career Services and Employer Relations helps students land internships and jobs with these companies prior to graduation.

Our Veterans Services Center provides a communal space for military veterans, service members and their family members to study, socialize, relax and watch TV. It also provides information about state and federal benefits available to veterans. Framingham State University is proud to be part of the Yellow Ribbon Program, which means out-of-state veterans do not have to worry about covering the cost between in-state and out-of-state tuition and fees that typically are not covered by the Post-9/11 GI Bill. In 2020, FSU was ranked a top college for United States Veterans by College Factual, an online site that bills itself as one of the largest sources of higher education data in the United States.
