Illinois Institute of Technology

  • (312) 567-3000 | Website

The Illinois Institute of Technology is a private technology-focused research university for military and veterans looking to complete their education.

With two locations in Chicago, as well as a campus in Wheaton, IL and Bedford Park, IL- this is an easily accessible school to use Post 9/11 GI Bill college benefits.

In 2016-2017 over 2,500 degrees were awarded to those who chose to pursue a degree in technology.

In 1890, when advanced education was often reserved for society's elite, Chicago minister Frank Wakely Gunsaulus delivered what came to be known as the "Million Dollar Sermon."

From the pulpit of his South Side church, near the site Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT) now occupies, Gunsaulus said that with a million dollars he could build a school where students of all backgrounds could prepare for meaningful roles in a changing industrial society.
