Executive Director, Military Relations

Meet KC Haight, Executive Director of Military Relations at Indiana Wesleyan University (IWU). KC served 23-years on Active Duty in the Air Force. The first 13 years of his military career KC served as a Security Specialist, which culminated in becoming a Master Instructor at the Security Police Academy. The last 10-years in uniform KC spent in Air Force Recruiting Service. HeI retired in 1997 with the rank of MSgt. During his time in USAF Recruiting Service, he discovered a passion for education and has spent the last 25 years in higher education, working exclusively with colleges and universities like IWU to create better opportunities for our nation’s guardians and their families. KC believes there is no one more deserving of a quality education than those who have worn and are wearing the uniform.

For undergraduate programs, they offer a discounted military tuition rate of $250 per credit hour tuition rate.  This rate is for active duty only.

IWU offers a 10% off discounted military tuition rate for military spouses and dependent children.

For master’s programs, IWU offers a 15% military tuition discount.  This rate is not available to spouses or dependent children, even if using military educational benefits.

AS Public Service and Management (ASPSM) 


Transfer Up To 45 Military Credits Toward Your Degree at Iwu!

ASPSM is designed purposeful to both recognize military training and military experience. The ASPSM is a 60-hour degree program. Transfer a maximum of 45 credits from either a Joint Service Transcript (JST) or Community College of the Air Force (CCAF) (CCAF is regionally accredited by the SACS) transcript.

The ASPSM was specifically created for military students who have worn or are currently wearing the uniform

  • The ASPSM is a 60-hour degree program 
  • Students must complete a minimum of 25% of the program at IWU (5 classes/15 hours)
  • Average credits transferred is 36-42
  • Could graduate in 7 months
