The Lee College Veterans Center has been established as part of the College Credit for Heroes program and a grant from the Texas Workforce Commission. One component of this grant is to help military veterans and those on active duty move as quickly as possible to the workforce by awarding college credit for military experience, education and training obtained during military service. Other support services include helping provide peer tutoring, advising, counseling, financial aid, military benefit assistance and outreach activities.
