Potomac State College of West Virginia University thanks you, our student veterans and military personnel, as well as their dependents, for your service to our country. We strive to provide an atmosphere here at Potomac State that conveys our appreciation and is conducive to achieving your educational goals. It's hard to describe Potomac State College because we don't really fit neatly into any category. It's almost easier to explain what we're not: we're not a community college and we're not "just" a two-year school. Yes, many of our students earn two-year degrees but we also offer four-year programs. We're a division of West Virginia University with residence halls, sports teams, lots of student clubs, organizations, and activities.Best of all, all of these unexpected benefits are affordable. Potomac State's tuition and fees are the lowest of any four-year institution in West Virginia according to the West Virginia Higher Education Report Card.
