Samford University

Samford professors' primary focus is on teaching and mentoring their students. They work closely with students and get to know them well so they may be assisted in the best way, a great resource for active military and veterans looking to continue their education. Samford University enables their students individually toward their personal and professional goals. Our student-to-faculty ratio is a low 12:1. More than 90 percent of our full-time faculty have earned the highest degrees in their fields of study. No classes at Samford are taught by graduate students. Samford professors genuinely care -- they are role models who lead by example. Samford seeks to provide resources to help students from different backgrounds achieve success, including the Academic Success Center, the Communication Resource Center, financial advising offices (where students can learn about the post 9/11 GI bill education benefits), mentors and tutors, caring faculty and staff, libraries with more than one million volumes, computer labs with printers, and campus-wide wireless access, all at the fingertips of Samford students.
