The principal purpose of the Sisseton Wahpeton College is to provide quality programs of formal instruction, meritorious research, and public service, through a collective effort by the Sisseton Wahpeton Sioux Tribe and SWC staff and faculty, sufficient to support its underlying mission of instruction and other learning opportunities in meeting the diverse and changing needs of the individual, the tribal community, and the society at large.
