Military Benefits & Discounts

Our online tuition freeze since 2012 has kept costs low, and SNHU offers military benefits and discounts of up to 30% for U.S Active Duty, National Guard and Selected Reserve and the spouses of those on active duty.

We also accept Tuition Assistance (TA), Post-9/11 GI Bill^® and Montgomery GI Bill^® benefits, and scholarships for spouses through MyCAA programs. SNHU is proud to participate in the Yellow Ribbon Program.

Is SNHU a GI Bill®-approved school?

Yes, SNHU is a GI Bill approved school.  However, you will need to check with the school to ensure that your preferred degree program is in fact covered by the GI Bill.  For more info, please go here.

Is SNHU a Yellow Ribbon school?

Yes, SNHU is a Yellow Ribbon school.  Eligible military and veteran students may have up to 100% of their tuition covered, with zero costs out-of-pocket.

Does SNHU offer a military discount or reduced tuition rates for military and veterans?

Yes, SNHU offers a military discount in the form of reduced tuition rates for active duty military and active duty military spouses.

SNHU offers discounts of up to 30% toward online undergraduate and graduate degree programs for U.S. service members, both full- and part-time, and the spouses of those on active duty.

SNHU’s tuition rate for active military is $231 and does not exceed the Tuition Rate assistance cap of $250 per hour.  Eligible military-affiliated students may have zero out-of-pocket costs.
