The Fundamentals of Fabrication program objective is to provide students with occupational training required for employment in the field of metal fabrication and welding. Students will gain experience with welding, notching, bending, sheet metal forming and all the basics to get started in this career. The curriculum is accelerated with an emphasis in automotive applications, while embracing a hands-on approach to learning that will apply across various industries..
The Digital Design and Manufacturing program objective is to provide students with occupational training in the fields of part design, machining, tooling, and laser cutting / forming. Experience will be gained creating 3D and 2D drawings with CAD, and utilizing the latest CNC equipment and technology in a real-world environment.
The Advanced Composites and Technologies program objective is to provide students with occupational training required in the fields of composites manufacturing, laminating, and repair. These skills are highly sought after in the aerospace and automotive industries where material weight and strength are key to design. Materials will include carbon fiber, fiberglass, epoxies and structural honeycomb core.
