The George Washington University Office of Military and Veteran Student Services is committed to providing our student veterans, dependents, and military personnel with both student support services and student administrative services.
GW currently enrolls over 1,800 military-affiliated students and has the following veteran and military support programs:
George Washington is a MyCAA approved school.
GW also has a VetSuccess on Campus (VSOC) program that aims to help Veterans, Servicemembers, and their qualified dependents succeed and thrive through a coordinated delivery of on-campus benefits assistance and counseling, leading to completion of their education and preparing them to enter the labor market in viable careers.
George Washington University is a four year, private institution in Washington D.C. Students have a lot of different areas of study to choose from when enrolling at GW as the school is a research university, has 10 schools within it, and 100 research centers. GW also offers more than 100 online programs.
