The University of West Georgia offers servicemembers and veterans Priority Registration, waivers of out-of-state tuition when using DoD or VA educational benefits, waivers of Mandatory Fees when using military Tuition Assistance, and access to the campus chapter of the Student Veterans Association.

Through collaboration with University and community resources, the Center for Adult Learners and Veterans offers outreach and in-person and online assistance to support the academic, professional, and personal needs of student veterans, active duty service members, and their spouses and dependents. CALV also conducts Green Zone training to help students, faculty, and staff develop the most welcoming environment possible for servicemembers and veterans.
