WSU Tuition Waivers for Military and Veterans

Washington State University offers tuition waivers. The Veterans Partial Tuition Waiver is offered to both graduate and undergraduate students. It can be used with the Post 9/11 GI Bill if the student has less than 100% eligibility for the GI Bill.

In addition to the Veterans Waiver, they also offer one for spouses and dependents, which includes a book stipend.

The Details: In order to qualify for this scholarship, students must be retired military, honorably discharged, or be an active duty service member, and be currently enrolled either full or part-time in a 2-year, or 4-year accredited undergraduate or graduate college or university that is listed on the US Department of Education website. Students also need to be 16 years of age and have a 3.0 GPA.

Veteran Education Scholarship 

Varies, $1,000

The Details: For the Veterans Education Scholarship you must be accepted into or be currently attending an accredited college or university. Students also need to provide a copy of their DD-214, NAVPERS form, or WD AGO to prove eligibility. The scholarship is open to anyone who has served in the US military and is in good standing with the military regardless of age or when they served on active duty.
